Dollard-des-Ormeaux School “Any mummers allowed in?” Mummering is an old Christmas tradition from Newfoundland. All you have to do is disguise yourself with whatever you have in the closet and go visit neighbouring houses. Mummers dance and sing while the neighbours try to guess who you are under the costume. Once they do, you move onto the next house, usually picking up a few new Mummers along the way. |
